Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) 

New for 2011 - APPLY ONLINE!

Join the more than 2,000 contractors that participate in the ABC Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program.  Now is the perfect time to find out how this ABC resource can help your company improve its jobsite safety - and its bottom line.

STEP's innovative evaluation tool will help you measure year-to-year progress to create the safest and most productive workforce.  The program identifies and tracks areas for improvement, and it offers special recognition for companies that achieve outstanding safety records.

For 18 years, the STEP program's time-tested methodology has helped make ABC member companies safer and more productive.

Platinum level achievement provides a special certificate of recognition, and serves as an automatic application for ABC's National Safety Award. Platinum achievement also includes participation in a national promotional campaign that consists of advertisements in other than ABC publications, targeting construction-service users.

As a program participant, your company will be able to:

• decrease the number of lost workdays
• improve project productivity
• improve employee safety and morale
• lower workers' compensation claims and insurance rates

Applications are accepted all year long, however, in order to be included in the Chapter's Award Luncheon, the deadline to apply is June 1, 2011.
